Norman Rhead Precast offer a growing range of stock sills designed to suit standard window openings. These dressings are available off-the-shelf in Bathstone buff coloured reconstitued stone.

Sill Types:

Currently all our stock is designed for 2 metric course heights, i.e. 140mm tall.

We have two types available, either stooled or non-stooled:

The Stooled variety have 102.5 mm seating at either end, designed to support brickwork where the sill overruns the window opening. So effectively a total of 205mm is added to the brickwork opening to give overall sill length.

Our Non-Stooled, or Slip cills have the same central section running right the way through and are supplied in 1115mm lengths. They can be used in combination with 90 degree or 45 degree stock corners to create bay windows.

Normally all stock over 1405mm in overall length is supplied in two equal pieces to assist with manual handling.
