For more than 90 years Norman Rhead has been a supplier of high quality products to Professional Builders, Self Builders and the Builders' Merchant trade across Staffordshire and beyond. Based in Stoke-on-Trent, the business was established in 1921 on land purchased from the Duke of Sutherland's Estate. The site was found to be rich in exceptional sand & gravel.

Initially the Company developed as a quarry extracting some of the best quality yellow sand in the local area and gradually developed into block making utilising the superior raw materials readily available on site.

As the Company grew, precast stone was added to the range of products manufactured on site and the business diversified into Builders' Merchanting.

Today Norman Rhead Precast focuses on the supply of high quality cast stone architectural dressings delivered across the UK. Quality remains at the forefront of everything we do and our range of stock reconstituted stone provides the speed of supply that so many contractors now demand.
